Southeast Kansas Fishing Radio Show Lands Best of Show Honors

More unwelcome congressional attention
The third bill, H.R. 2354, was authored by Rodney Frelinghuysen of New Jersey and makes 2012 appropriations for energy and water development. It appears to fund 22 of the 23 California water-related projects proposed by President Obama’s budget. Sounds good except for an amendment to rescind the remaining balance of the San Joaquin River Restoration Fund, which would have been used to implement the San Joaquin River Settlement Agreement. This bill has passed the House.

3RD PLACE FINISH AT THE BOATU.S. COLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES PEPSI OPEN.
For the third straight year, the BoatU.S. Collegiate Championship Series held the Pepsi Open on Kentucky Lake. The event was held June 29-30 out on Paris Landing. This is the only national collegiate event that has a true team format. Over sixty of the best teams across the country competed in this two day event. The best two weights from each 3 boat team were used each day to determine the total team weight.
